I was truly honored to receive the 2016 Outstanding Scholarship for Emerging Scholars Award from the International Leadership Association Women and Leadership Affinity Group. Leanne Dzubinski (Biola University) and I were jointly given the award for our collaborative research on gender-based leadership barriers and unconscious gender bias. Leanne and I have been collaborating on this research since 2014 when we met at the International Leadership Association’s Women and Leadership Theory Colloquium in Orem, Utah. It’s been a fruitful partnership so far, and I’m excited to where else it leads!
